The Cadenza String Quartet is generally the ensemble of choice for most events. The Quartet provides a full, rich sound, and much dynamic and musical diversity. This list includes some of the pieces in our repertoire, and is used when choosing music to play at receptions or other events which require background music. A list of pieces generally drawn on for wedding ceremonies (including prelude and postlude) can be found here. We also have a number of tangos. If you happen upon us playing in the Byward Market, you may even hear some of our busking repertoire.
If you have certain pieces from our repertoire that you definitely want to hear at your event, please let us know beforehand so that we can make sure they will be played for you!
